What Does A Stress Response Feel Like? Fight/Flight/Freeze/Fawn Explained.

A stress or survival response is our bodies natural/subconscious reaction to danger or a perceived threat. It's called the fight, flight, freeze, fawn response. Our bodies have developed this automatic physiological stress response over thousands of years to keep our species surviving and evolving.

The problem happens when we get stuck in this survival response. We then perceive threat constantly because we are stuck in this elevated, amped up way of living and being and over time it creates illnesses like anxiety disorders, autoimmune illnesses, digestive problems, insomnia and a myriad of other physical and mental problems.
